A tasty and nutritious smoothie that’s made with fruits, a leafy green, and cottage cheese. The smoothie can be served in a bowl with a spoon or in a cup with a straw.
Add of the ingredients to a high speed blender and start the blender off slow while gradually increasing its speed. Blend for about 1.5 to 2 minutes or until it’s well blended and smooth. I like to use the blender’s stick to try and get the ingredients incorporated or to help keep the ingredients moving/blending.
If needed, stop and scrape the sides or add a bit more water.
I like to allow my frozen fruits to thaw a bit so the smoothie isn’t too cold-it’s not completely thawed, just not too frozen. I have found the smoothie is a bit more flavorful that way.
